A recent CAG audit revealed a stark failure in Odisha’s Placement Linked Training Programme (PLTP). Shockingly, none of the 2,311 youths trained between 2014 and 2021 secured jobs, despite a 70% placement promise. This resulted in a waste of ₹3.66 crore paid to trainers.
