1 dead, several injured as 100-year-old peepal tree collapses in Lucknow’s Kaiserbagh area
In Lucknow’s Kaiserganj, a massive Peepal tree collapsed. Ramu Bangali, a 60-year-old man, died in the incident. Several others sustained injuries. Heavy rainfall weakened the tree’s roots. The tree damaged houses and shops. Rescue operations involved police, fire brigade, and municipal staff. Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak oversaw the rescue.
