13-year-old boy drowns in Keonjhar pond

A 13-year-old boy drowned in a pond in Keonjhar district on Tuesday. Sai Prasad, a Class VIII student, was bathing near Jalkalang village. He was with two other students when he fell into the pond. Police and fire service personnel were alerted. They recovered Sai’s body after a search. Doctors at Anandpur hospital declared him dead. An investigation is underway.
