1ndependence to Eid: Oldest Bohra band chimes on after seven decades

For over seven decades, Mumbai’s Saifee Scout, the Dawoodi Bohra community’s oldest band, has thrived on voluntary participation. Recently, its 70 members welcomed their leader, Syeda Mufaddal Saifuddin, during Eid-e-Milad celebrations. Founded in 1947, the band performs at significant events like Republic and Independence Days, and Milads.
