3,500-year-old Egyptian ‘Book of the Dead’ discovered in untouched tomb

In central Egypt’s Tuna al-Gebel region, a New Kingdom-era cemetery dating back 3,500 years has yielded a rare treasure: a remarkably well-preserved papyrus scroll, estimated to be 43 to 49 feet long, containing part of the Book of the Dead.
