40% of American students use AI on assignments without permission: What’s really happening in US classrooms
A recent survey reveals varied engagement with AI among education stakeholders. While 94% of superintendents and 89% of principals are excited about AI’s potential, only 53% of teachers share this enthusiasm. Most superintendents (98%) and principals (87%) frequently learn about positive AI uses, but only 49% of teachers do so. Students report 40% unauthorised AI use. The findings highlight differing attitudes and adoption rates of AI tools across education roles, pointing to opportunities for targeted support and training.
