Surajia Bai Jatav, a 65-year-old woman in Madhya Pradesh, survived a harrowing jackal attack by strangling the animal with her sari after a half-hour struggle. Severely mauled and unconscious, she was found by her family and rushed to the hospital with 18 bite wounds.
