70 samples of ‘poor’ quality sweets sent for tesing

Food safety squads in Bhubaneswar collected 70 samples of suspected poor quality sweets for lab testing and fined violators over Rs 40,000 during surprise inspections. Unhygienic conditions, including uncovered items and unwashed containers, were observed, with chemical-based colours also noted. Inspections will continue until October 22.
