FIR against PSI for custodial beating of Navelim man

A police sub-inspector in Margao has been suspended and an FIR filed against him for allegedly assaulting a Navelim resident in police custody. The resident sustained head injuries after being picked up for public nuisance. Charges include voluntarily causing hurt and a public servant disobeying law.
