MoUs signed at India Maritime Week-2025 to operationalise waterways in Odisha

Odisha’s National Waterways-5 and 64 are set to be operationalized following a landmark MoU signed at India Maritime-2025. This Rs 12,200 crore project, involving IWAI, the Odisha government, PPA, and MCL, aims to boost sustainable freight movement of coal and cargo, reducing logistics costs and road/rail congestion.
