7 dacoits held, Rs 98.5k seized in fake notes

Guwahati police apprehended seven individuals in Koinadhara on Sunday night, thwarting a planned dacoity. Authorities recovered a significant amount of fake currency, mobile phones, and various identification cards from the suspects, who hail from Lakhimpur, Sonitpur, and Nagaon districts. The operation successfully disrupted a counterfeit note racket.
