Transport dept forms committee to standardise RTO procedures

In response to operational inconsistencies across regional transport offices (RTOs), the Odisha transport department has formed a seven-member committee. This committee will develop a standard operating procedure (SOP) to ensure uniform, transparent, and statutory processes for public service delivery, aiming to curb violations and revenue loss. The report is expected within 15 days.
