Three years on, GMCH Sundargarh struggles without leadership, basic facilities

Three years after its inauguration, Government Medical College & Hospital (GMCH), Sundargarh, faces systemic neglect, acute manpower shortages, and infrastructural gaps. Despite being a 500-bed hospital meant to serve western Odisha and neighboring states, critically ill patients are referred elsewhere due to non-functional ICUs and a lack of specialists.
