Kanpur land scam: Real estate operator swindles Rs 1.13 crore; six victims cheated via fake sale deeds

A real estate operator and his associate allegedly defrauded six individuals of Rs 1.13 crore by creating fake sale deeds for land. Victims reported being swindled through forged documents, with accused delaying possession and issuing death threats when refunds were demanded. Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
