Rifles, IEDs and ammo seized as security forces exchange fire with Maoists in Saranda

Security forces engaged in a 50-minute firefight with Maoist cadres in Saranda forest, West Singhbhum. The exchange, which occurred during a combing operation, resulted in the seizure of three rifles, numerous IEDs, and live ammunition. No casualties were reported. Authorities have vowed to continue operations until extremist presence is eliminated.
