Police and forest officials seized 3 kg of poppy seeds in Manatu, intended for illegal cultivation in Tandwa’s dense forests. The operation, the first of its kind in the area, disrupted a group preparing land for sowing. The growers fled, leaving behind belongings that were subsequently destroyed.
