Civil engineer falls prey to online trading scam

A civil engineer from Bengaluru lost nearly Rs 2 lakh in an online trading scam after receiving a suspicious link on his mobile. He transferred the money between May 17 and May 29, hoping for a refund, but was ultimately defrauded. The Puttur Town Police have registered a case against the cyber fraudsters.
