Supreme Court makes DMRB a jumbo body; asks it to demarcate morphological ridge

The Supreme Court has revamped the Delhi Ridge Management Board (DMRB) into a 13-member body headed by the Delhi chief secretary to streamline protection of the Delhi Ridge. The court directed the DMRB to remove all encroachments and submit six-monthly reports on the Ridge’s health, emphasizing its conservation and ecological restoration.
