From Fighter Jets to Space Stations: How Shubhanshu Shukla and Sunita Williams Prepared for Space
Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla made history as the first Indian to visit the International Space Station. He was part of the Axiom-4 mission. The team spent two weeks in orbit. Shukla underwent years of training with NASA astronaut Sunita Williams. Training included spacewalk practice and simulator work. Astronauts maintain physical fitness.
