Women demand closure of illicit liquor unit

Women in Jajpur district protested at Binjharpur police station, blocking the main road for three hours to demand the closure of illicit liquor outlets. They alleged that drunkards create difficulties for women and girls, and that authorities have ignored previous pleas. Protesters also claimed police have a nexus with illicit liquor traders.
