Jharkhand Banks’ Credit Deposit Ratio Reaches 52.19%: A Positive Step Towards Inclusive Development

Jharkhand’s credit deposit ratio improved to 52.19% by September 30, 2025, a 3.93% year-on-year increase. Finance Minister Radha Krishana Kishore urged banks to prioritize loans for weaker sections and government schemes to foster inclusive development. Banks were also encouraged to boost credit flow in agriculture and allied sectors, while non-performing assets have decreased to 5.23%.
