ICAR adopts Nongspung A as first ‘model poultry cluster village’ in NE

Nongspung A village in Meghalaya is set to become the Northeast’s first ‘model poultry cluster village’ thanks to a new initiative by ICAR-NEH. This partnership aims to boost rural livelihoods by providing scientific training, improved breeds, and disease control to local farmers. The project seeks to establish a sustainable income and nutrition model for replication across the region.
