CPA to urge Centre to take steps for NE’s sustainable devpt

Northeast parliamentary leaders, at their 22nd annual conference in Kohima, urged the central government to collaborate with state governments on a sustainable development plan for the region, respecting its ethnic diversity. They also recommitted to parliamentary democracy and encouraged legislators to actively engage with citizens for a developed Northeast by 2047.
