Advocate P Sanjai Gandhi, geographical indication (GI) nodal officer for Tamil Nadu, participated at the event representing the state govt. Sanjai Gandhi was instrumental in obtaining GI tag for 55 products in the state. Tamil Nadu has 79 GI products and nationally the number is around 700.
