China’s Baidu announces two AI processors, new version of its Ernie model

Baidu has launched two new artificial intelligence chips and an updated Ernie large language model. These products aim to provide Chinese companies with powerful, affordable, and domestically controlled computing resources. The new chips are scheduled for release over the next two years. The Ernie model now offers enhanced capabilities in image and video analysis alongside text processing.
