Chhattisgarh staff seek DA budget; CKAF demands Bihar model, govt urged to act in 2026-27

The Chhattisgarh Karamchari Adhikari Federation (CKAF) has urged the state government to create a separate budget provision for dearness allowance (DA) and dearness relief (DR). Citing Bihar’s model, where a dedicated budget ensures timely DA disbursement, CKAF seeks similar arrangements to prevent delays and employee protests in Chhattisgarh. They request this provision in the upcoming 2026-27 budget.
