A 63-year-old life-term convict, Khemlal Mahto, died during treatment at Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College Hospital on Saturday evening. Mahto, who was serving a sentence for a 1995-96 case, had been suffering from multiple health issues. His condition worsened suddenly, leading to his referral and subsequent death.
