Coimbatore man attempts to rape 75-year-old mother-in-law; thrashed by son, hospitalised

In a shocking incident in Coimbatore, 51-year-old R Manikandan allegedly attempted to rape his 75-year-old mother-in-law while intoxicated. Alerted by the elderly woman’s cries, neighbors intervened and rescued her. Enraged by his father’s actions, Manikandan’s son, Deepak, physically assaulted him, leading to his hospitalization.
