Visakhapatnam: Walkathon conducted to raise awareness on World Prematurity Day

Visakhapatnam saw a walkathon at RK Beach organized by Rainbow Children’s Hospital and BirthRight by Rainbow. Over 600 participants joined to raise awareness about preterm birth. Prematurity is a leading cause of newborn deaths in India. Early medical intervention and specialized care significantly improve survival rates for premature infants. The event highlighted the importance of maternal and newborn health.
