Odia diaspora showcases culture, cuisine & commerce at US event

Houston’s Orissa Culture Center hosted its inaugural Bali Yatra, celebrating Odisha’s historical maritime trade with Southeast Asia. The two-day event featured Odia delicacies, ethnic merchandise, and Indian dance performances on the first day, followed by Western cuisine and music on the second, drawing 1,200 attendees.
