BeMC to rope in new WiFi service provider

Berhampur Municipal Corporation will float an open tender for a new WiFi service provider as the current contract ends November 30. Corporators expressed dissatisfaction with existing poor WiFi services despite significant expenditure, demanding immediate cancellation of the present contractor’s agreement. The civic body previously paid Rs 48 lakh annually for WiFi and maintenance.
