Bombay HC denies relief to shops on Kandivli hsg soc land

The Bombay High Court has dismissed appeals from occupants of eight structures on a housing society’s land near Kandivli West railway station. Justice Milind Jadhav described the occupants as illegal hawkers and land grabbers, upholding the city civil court’s refusal to stay their demolition. The court directed them to pay exemplary costs for their prolonged illegal occupation.
