13 Buddhist pilgrims detained at Gaya airport for visa violations

Gaya airport witnessed the detention of 13 Buddhist pilgrims within 24 hours due to visa issues. Twelve Cambodian nationals arrived without valid visas and were released after receiving a temporary permit. A Thai pilgrim with an expired visa was also detained and will be repatriated. These incidents occurred amidst efforts to boost tourism.
