Chhattisgarh: Bhilai begins work on 150 MLD STP for clean waterways

Bhilai Municipal Corporation has begun constructing a 150 MLD Sewage Treatment Plant near Kachandur village to treat wastewater from Kosa Nala and Telha Nala. This ₹145 crore project, expected to be completed in 24 months, will prevent water pollution and allow treated water reuse for irrigation, enhancing the city’s environment and quality of life.
