FIR against 7 for supply of spurious drugs to civic body

The FDA Palghar filed an FIR against seven individuals for supplying spurious Cefixime antibiotics to the VVCMC. After a sample failed the IP identification test, the drugs were declared spurious. The VVCMC has since cancelled the contractor’s tender and halted distribution of medicines from them, ensuring patient safety.
