Case filed for obstructing drain clearance works in Karnataka village

A drain clearance operation in Kat Belthuru village, ordered by the tahsildar, faced obstruction from a group led by Surendra. The Panchayat Development Officer reported that the group formed an unlawful assembly, threatened officials, and physically blocked the work using women. A case has been registered against the accused under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
