Assam CM: Evictions to go on till all govt, forest land free of encroachment

In a bold move to protect natural resources, Assam’s Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced that the government will intensify eviction efforts to reclaim encroached forest and government lands. This announcement follows an extensive operation in Nagaon’s Lutumari reserve, where over 1,700 families were relocated from occupied territories.
