IGI India’s first ‘water-positive’ airport: Know what it means

Delhi airport has achieved ‘water-positive’ status, becoming India’s first airport with over 40 million passengers to do so. This distinction was earned through extensive rainwater harvesting, new underground reservoirs, and a zero-liquid-discharge sewage treatment plant that recycles wastewater for various non-potable uses.
