FDDI Convocation 2025: President Murmu urges graduates to drive growth in India’s footwear industry

President Droupadi Murmu addressed the FDDI Convocation Ceremony 2025 in New Delhi, highlighting the growing importance of technology, innovation, and global competitiveness in footwear design. She encouraged graduates to contribute to Aatmanirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat @ 2047. Emphasizing India’s expanding footwear export potential, she urged youth to explore emerging sectors like sports and non-leather footwear. Ministers Piyush Goyal and Jitin Prasada also attended. FDDI leaders congratulated students and reaffirmed their commitment to holistic, industry-oriented education.
