Odisha govt drafts guidelines for R&D grant in biotech

Odisha’s science and technology department has introduced guidelines for R&D grants to foster cutting-edge biotechnology research. The scheme aims to support actionable projects addressing societal and industrial challenges, promoting indigenous technologies with commercialization potential. Funding will be provided for up to three years, with a maximum of Rs 30 lakh per project, supporting a maximum of 10 projects annually.
