AIADMK MP C Ve Shanmugam says he was target of digital arrest scam

AIADMK MP C Ve Shanmugam reported a digital arrest scam after receiving threatening calls from individuals impersonating Mumbai police. The callers falsely accused him of terrorism and claimed 17 criminal cases were pending against him. Shanmugam, targeted while en route to Parliament, has requested a CBI investigation into the incident.
