Tarantinoverse? Why fans are convinced Kill Bill is a sequel of Pulp Fiction
The starting point is always the same scene in Pulp Fiction, the one where Mia Wallace casually describes the failed TV pilot she once auditioned for — the infamous Fox Force Five. Her rundown of the characters feels uncannily like a preview of the Deadly Vipers: a lethal blonde, a Japanese martial-arts expert, a black demolition specialist, a seductive Frenchwoman and a knife-wielding assassin. Once Kill Bill arrived years later, the overlap was too striking for fans to ignore. It felt less like coincidence and more like Tarantino showing his homework in reverse.
