Mumbai chawl collapse: 7 injured, many feared trapped as floors cave in at 3-storey building; rescue operation launched

A chawl in Bandra East’s Bharat Nagar collapsed early Friday, injuring at least seven and trapping several others. The second and third floors of the residential building gave way, prompting a Level-II emergency response. Rescue teams are working to free those still buried under the debris, with the injured being treated at Bhabha Hospital.
