Did scientists just grow the first-ever space flower ‘Zinnia’ aboard ISS?

Growing plants in space is no longer a distant dream. Scientists and astronauts have been experimenting with growing plants in orbit. NASA astronaut Scott Kelly posted a photo of a blooming flower aboard the International Space Station in 2016. Astronaut Don Pettit successfully grew a sunflower aboard the ISS in 2012.
