Odisha police rescue 28-day-old infant sold by parents for Rs 20,000

In Odisha’s Bolangir district, police rescued a 28-day-old baby girl allegedly sold by her parents for Rs 20,000 due to extreme poverty. The parents, Nila and Kanak Rana, claimed they gave the baby away for a better upbringing, not for money. The infant is now in CWC custody, and an inquiry will be launched.
