Eddie Murphy will star in a Donkey spinoff film. The movie will explore Donkey’s family life with his dragon wife and kids. Murphy will also return as Donkey in Shrek 5. Mike Myers and Cameron Diaz will reprise their roles. Zendaya joins the cast as Felicia. Shrek 5 is set to release on December 23, 2026.
