PLFI area commander with Rs 15 lakh bounty on head killed in police encounter in Gumla

In Gumla, a top commander of the PLFI, Martin Karketta, was killed in a gunfight. The incident occurred near Changabari forest. Karketta carried a significant bounty on his head. He led the outfit after Dinesh Gope’s arrest. Police recovered a pistol from the site. The operation continues to apprehend the remaining members of his squad.
