Bhubaneswar shocker: Drunk driver attacks woman with hatchet outside her home, leaves her in ICU

In Bhubaneswar’s Shyampur area, Tapan Das, allegedly intoxicated, attacked Binodini Rath with a hatchet outside her residence, leaving her critically injured and hospitalized. Police arrested Das, who lives nearby, and are investigating the motive, suspecting a prior dispute. The victim’s family intervened after hearing her screams, but Das fled before being apprehended by authorities.
