Drugs, gold & dead raccoons: Rs 11 crore smuggling bid foiled at Mumbai airport
Mumbai Customs officials at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport thwarted three smuggling attempts, seizing narcotics, exotic wildlife, and gold worth over Rs 11 crore. Authorities arrested four individuals involved in these separate cases, which included hydroponic marijuana concealed in luggage, live and dead exotic animals, and gold hidden within body cavities and pockets. Investigations are ongoing to combat smuggling activities.
