Mother who killed 2 kids to continue affair challenges life sentence in Madras high court

Abirami has challenged her life sentence in Madras High Court. She was convicted with Meenakshi Sundaram for murdering her two children in 2018. The Kancheepuram court sentenced them for the crime. Abirami sought leniency citing her jail time and parental responsibilities. The court rejected her plea. The prosecution has been directed to respond within four weeks.
